The Key to Cost Effective Videos Is Quantity. Maximize Shoot Time By Producing Multiple Videos in One Project.
If you’re constantly posting content on social media, you need cost effective videos. A way to produce short, simple stories—thirty seconds to a minute in length—on a regular basis.
While some business owners simply shoot them on their smartphones, the vast majority prefer to hire a professional. That’s where Content Puppy comes in.
Atlanta Decking & Fence
For example, check out these cost effective videos from Atlanta Decking & Fence Company.
I created them with Sandy Barth, at High Profile Group.
Sandy called to talk about social media videos, and asked about how we could produce the videos more cost effectively.
So I told her, “The best way to make costs go down is to bundle multiple videos together.”
Cost Effective Videos
Bundling is basically a volume discount. Instead of shooting one or two videos and calling it quits, we keep going, shooting ten or more videos in a single day.
By producing multiple videos as a group, time efficiencies kick in, and you end up getting your videos at a much lower cost per unit.
For example, for Atlanta Decking we shot footage for two days at their business and at a few work sites.
We ended up with 25 videos (about half were for their sister company—Georgia Front Porch).
Instead of researching and writing scripts, we used customer questions instead—each video answered a different question.
Dave Tibbetts and Gary Zielinski really know their stuff, and were able to answer those questions off the top of their head, without a script or teleprompter.
How Much Can You Save?
Bottom line, we saved Atlanta Decking about a third of what multiple productions would have cost. Possibly even more.
And that's how cost effective videos are produced.
Thanks again to Dave and Gary at Atlanta Front Porch, and to their marketing expert Sandy Barth!
